RUMORS

Ravensfjord Kjorva Winter Court Valley of Gylfannigg Fey Ruins
Kjorvan Ruins Lazuli was likely built by the Kjorvans, the precursor civilization to Khor and Ravensfjord that disappeared centuries ago without warning. The Kjorvans were said to have had relations with the Fey and portals to their world, often causing ruins such as these to be called Fey Ruins, though this is a misnomer. Kjorvan ruins are often avoided by most folk because they are filled with wards and traps, and also thought to be haunted by the souls of the Kjorvans trapped by whatever accursed power brought them to ruin. This doesn’t apply for thieves, robbers, scholars, and magicians, however, who go looking for the advanced technology and forbidden secrets that slumber in these depths.
Fey Pools The Fey often made pacts with powerful individuals on the Material Plane, especially near sources of natural power, such as Ravenskogen, which houses the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Though the membranes separating the Material Plane and the Feywild can sometimes blur, a sure way to travel between the worlds is through a Fey Pool, which is quite like it sounds. Magic-imbued transportation stones are bound together to hold a pool of water, and passing through this water allows the passenger access to a corresponding pool on the other plane. Legend has it that the Kjorvans abandoned their civilization for the Feywild, enchanted or enticed by some promise of splendor on the other side. In any case, Fey Pools remain behind, often clustered in the ruins. Every once in a while, though, someone stumbles onto a pool mistaken for a well in the woods and is never heard from again.
